House of Yes is renowned as the pre-eminent party outfit in NYC. But there are more strings to their bow than fabulous performances, carnival parades and epic dance events. Take for example their residency at the Edition Hotel in Times Square. In full swing for a year prior to the Pandemic, HoY’s weekly takeovers of the Paradise club inside the Edition did a lot more than fill the dancefloor and drive sales at the bar: it transformed the entire atmosphere of the building, imbuing it with a sense of excitement and spontaneity that for most hotel brands would be like trying to capture lightning in a bottle.

In September 2021, the Daily News was inspired by their City of Gods spectacular at Grand Prospect Hall, ‘one of the greatest Halloween parties in history’, to conclude “As New York seeks to remake itself, with Amazon killing retail and the pandemic hollowing out office spaces, it is the arts, culture, nightlife and tourism sectors that will be our salvation.”
